Ambassador Committee
This committee focuses on introduction to the chamber and assists in helping new members establish new relationships, familiarize them with chamber opportunities and introduce them into the network of existing chamber members.

Board of Directors
Chamber members are elected to represent the chamber, direct affairs, and establish policy for the Greater Salem Chamber of Commerce.

Business Education Collaborative
Seeks to enhance the well being of the community by contributing to the growth of our students through a partnership of business, education and community members.

Economic Development
This committee will serve as a communication network between business and government. It will be an informational awareness resource for Chamber members.

Executive Committee
Six members of the board of directors are chosen to work with the management of the chamber to oversee the actual day to day operations of the chamber.

Government Affairs Committee
This committee acts as a liaison between the local and state government representatives and the business community. The group provides a forum for members to converse with our elected officials.

Health Resources Committee
Members will have the opportunity to gain knowledge about health issues such as insurance, wellness and local health resources. Pertinent information will be made available through workshops and news items in IMPACT.

Membership Committee
This committee focuses on recruiting new members by promoting Chamber benefits and involving them in participating. Members also follow up with existing members to ensure continued participation.

Not For Profit Committee
This committee was established to build a strong relationship between nonprofit organizations and business members of the Chamber.  It serves to strengthen response to community needs, increase awareness of available services, and to enhance resources for nonprofits.

Special Events Task Force
A group of volunteers that assists in planning, organizing, and promoting functions and fundraisers that are held throughout the year.
