Ambassador Committee

Mission : Act as hosts for Chamber meetings and events, welcome new members to the Chamber, and provide valuable input to the Board of Directors and Chamber staff through informal surveys of membership interests and needs.

Who are these people wearing the purple ribbons? The Ambassador Committee's key focus is member retention. The members of this committee will assist new and existing members in getting the most out of their membership and finding the most beneficial ways a member can connect with other members to establish professional contacts. As a member of the Ambassador Committee you have unique opportunities to meet new Chamber Members at the New Member Receptions that are held quarterly and chat with them about their businesses and your business, as well as introduce perspective, new members and existing members to each other. The Ambassador Committee Members also call new chamber members at monthly increments and discuss their experience with the chamber in hopes to be able to provide guidance and offer suggestions to the new members in getting the most out of their membership. If a new chamber member is having difficultly connecting with existing members an ambassador can help resolve the issue. Both the membership and ambassador committees currently have a very strong team of volunteers that work together to grow and maintain Chamber membership. If you would like to get involved call the Chamber Office at 893.3177.
